Thick Stainless Steel
Torqit uses steel up to 2mm thick. This thickness keeps your exhaust structurally sound after bending and produces a deep note without cabin drone. Regardless of where you drive, thick stainless steel gives you peace of mind against cracking and denting.
304 Grade Stainless Steel
The high amount of chromium and nickel in 304-grade steel increases its strength and rust resistance. Whether driving off-road or through water, this heavy-duty steel means maximum durability and a long lifespan. Bonus- all you need is some Scotch Brite to keep it looking new. Internally & Externally Welded Flanges
Internal and external welds on all our flanges reduce structural fatigue on the joints, stop cracks from forming, and prevent exhaust gas leaks. Each exhaust is TIG welded for maximum strength. TIG welding is complex and more time-consuming than the usual MIG welding technique used on exhausts; however produces a precise, clean finish with no welding spatter.
Mandrel Bent System
Torqit’s Mandrel Bender uses a flexible rod to support the exhaust internally and prevent crinkling as it’s bent. The result is a smooth, even diameter that lets exhaust gases flow unrestricted. This improves both your 4WDs’ performance and efficiency. Check out Torqit’s CNC Bender in action.
Titanium Coated Dump Pipes
The titanium coating on Torqit’s dump pipes is highly heat-resistant, helping disperse heat and cool the engine bay and its components. Because titanium is a tough, low-corrosion metal, it is more durable than ceramic coatings, which chip, crack and corrode over time.
High Flow Diesel Catalytic Converter
Torqit’s high-flow cats include 200 cells per square inch (CPSI) compared to the 400 CPSI of standard cats. This reduced CPSI increases exhaust flow and helps disperse heat for improved power, fuel economy and overall performance. You will especially see a boost in power if your vehicle has been remapped, heavily modified or upgraded with a supercharger/turbocharger.
Double Braided Flex Bellows
A flex bellow absorbs excess movement and vibrations on your 4WDs’ chassis. This reduces strain on your exhaust, prevents cracking, and caters for slight adjustments during fitment. Made from tough 304-grade stainless steel, Torqit’s double-braided design reinforces the bellow to prevent gases from escaping, reduce deterioration from heat and gases, and improve durability.
